the name = my family

S-Kelley-or what ….. Skelley West the design house, stationery and letterpress studio was lovingly named after my grandmother-more specifically her maiden name of Skelley. ‘West’ is a gentle nod to my way of life here in Colorado with my family.
Grandmother Kathleen Skelley was a spectacular woman, who, throughout my life I have drawn great inspiration from. Strong, fearless, and compassionate with a graceful elegance of a true beauty. While she is gone now, I very often find myself asking-what would grandmother Kathleen in this situation? Wether it be raising my young son, being a good wife to my loving husband, a good daughter and sister, a trusted friend- or working on building my small business. But I know she would say-just be a good person, help who you can, when you can-do the right thing.
And so-here I sit with the biggest smile on my face, knowing I’m just where I’m supposed to be right now, doing what I want to do, with my grandmothers smiling right with me.
I hope you can feel the passion that I have, represented in my lovingly made handmade goods.
